    Okay, reset your calendars. Now is the first month. Tell the people to take a lamb on the 10th day of the month. Then on the 14th day, kill the lamb, put its blood on the house's doorposts, then roast the lamb. Eat it with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs. And it must be roasted - not raw and not boiled. Eat it ready to leave the house - shoes and coat on, staff in hand. I will pass through Egypt on that night. Any houses with the blood I will pass over, but any houses without the blood I will kill the first-born of that family. Remember this day and celebrate it each year after this.
